OUR HEALTH SPECALIST

Ellen Shrader, MS. RD. LD. CNSC.

Ellen has been Registered Dietitian since October 2014. She graduated from the University of Maine with her Masters of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition, along with the completion of UMaine’s supervised practice Dietetic Internship program. 

 

Since graduating, Ellen has worked with nutrition programs across the State of Maine, including the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and Maine SNAP-Ed - teaching healthy eating on a budget class throughout Androscoggin County. Ellen works full-time as a Clinical Dietitian at a local hospital and has recently become a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician.

555 Fitness is a 503(c) organization founded by firefighters to reduce LODDs by promoting firefighter health & fitness. Visit their site to learn more about their unique fitness methods specifically for firefighters.
